HASINA HUSSAIN ZADA, OMID PROGRAM MANAGER
Hasina is a long-distance runner, a farmer, and an advocate for women's empowerment through sport and community work. She is a proud alumna of Free to Run’s running and gender equity program in Afghanistan, which she first joined in 2016.
Hasina graduated from the Physical Education College in Afghanistan, where she began her journey in athletics and leadership. Later, she continued her education in Canada and earned a diploma in Business Management from Oxford College of Toronto.
Through her work in sports, farming, and education, Hasina strives to be a source of strength and motivation for other women. Her goal is to lead by example and show that with courage and persistence, we can all create meaningful change in our lives and communities.
