JAMILA RASHO, LEADERSHIP FACILITATOR

Jamila Barakat Rasho is a humanitarian and development professional from Sinjar, Nineveh, with over nine years of experience in livelihoods, economic recovery, and social cohesion programming in Iraq. She currently works as a Leadership Facilitator with Free to Run, supporting women and girls through leadership development, confidence-building, and community engagement activities.

Jamila holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Mosul and has worked with several international organizations on UNDP- and GIZ-funded projects. She is recognized for her strong facilitation skills, community engagement, and commitment to women’s empowerment and inclusive development.
