LAMA HATTAB, BOARD MEMBER
Lama is best known for being the first female Jordanian marathon runner, the first Middle Eastern female ultramarathon participant, and a passionate proponent of youth and women’s involvement in sport across the Middle East. She is currently the Head of Programmes at Terres des Hommes in Lebanon. She previously held positions at Generations for Peace, Jordan Olympic Committee, Extreme Jordan, World Humanitarian Marathon and Ultra Marathon Foundation and at the Jordan International Police Training Center Security Division. Lama enjoys challenging herself both personally and professionally. She is the founder of “Her Steps Count.” She holds a Masters in Social Coexistence and Conflict Resolution. She is also an avid hiker and mountain climber, always pushing the envelope and paving the way for others to do the same.
