MARWAH SALEH, IMPACT AND LEARNING SPECIALIST

Marwah is a dedicated MEAL Specialist with extensive experience in human-centered design, research, and global MEAL principles to drive impactful programs. Her background includes collaborating with multiple teams and partners to ensure program initiatives are designed and implemented to meet the diverse needs of their targeted communities, focusing on the holistic empowerment of women and girls across various domains. During her time with the International Rescue Committee, Marwah studied the impact of programs in different regions of Iraq, including Women’s Protection & Empowerment, Social Cohesion, Gender Equity, Peace & Good Governance, WASH, Livelihoods, Role of Law, Child & Youth Protection and Development, and Early Child Development. Transitioning to Mercy Corps, she created a learning and integration plan that led to adjusting program interventions to provide women with easier access opportunities in the male-dominated market system, including agri-business, peacebuilding, governance, and financial services. Marwah’s commitment to meeting the diverse needs of women and girls drives her to constantly seek innovative and creative solutions.
