SHILAN FARIDON-ALI, PROGRAM MANAGER
Shilan is a humanitarian professional originally from Qamishly, Syria. She holds a degree in English Literature from Damascus University, graduating in 2015. Since 2016, Shilan has been working in the humanitarian sector, primarily in Iraq and North-East Syria, where she has developed deep expertise in emergency response, recovery, and sustainable development.
Shilan’s extensive experience includes working with both international and national organizations to address critical issues such as gender-based violence, the empowerment of adolescent girls, and livelihood opportunities. Her work also spans key areas of peacebuilding, social cohesion, agriculture, and food security. Throughout her career, Shilan has demonstrated a commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable communities, with a focus on both immediate relief and long-term solutions.
