Are you going for a 7th World Major Marathon Star, or perhaps you’ve always dreamed of running across the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge?

Sydney became an Abbott World Major Marathon in 2025 and interest in this race has sky-rocketed since then. As a Sydney Marathoner, you’ll be part of Free to Run’s Ambassador community and have the opportunity to connect with other Free to Run athletes and supporters around the world. Ambassadors also get insider access to learn about our programs and meet participants and staff from our program areas like Iraq, Palestine, and Afghanistan.
