Free to Run Ambassador Program Launch!
Free to Run is looking to grow our team! We are proud and excited to announce the launch of our new Ambassador program! We are searching for passionate individuals who love the outdoors and believe in the power of sport as a driver for positive change and equality.
Whether you are a runner or a walker, a skier or a mountain biker, a professional or a weekend warrior, we love all types of athletes! As an ambassador, you would be joining a team of change-makers and would receive privileged access to charity spots in Free to Run races and events. We want people who share our vision and values, and are excited to help promote our work supporting women and girls in some of the most challenging places on earth. And this isn’t just for female athletes- we welcome and encourage male ambassadors to join us who believe in gender equality on and off the mountains and trails!
What you get as an ambassador:
Join an inspiring team of change-makers from around the world
Dedicated resources to help spread the news about our work (images, graphics, statistics, quotes)
Privileged access to charity spots in Free to Run races and events, such as the TCS New York City Marathon and the Marathon of Afghanistan!
Calendar of important upcoming dates for Free to Run
Social media support for key initiatives you undertake on behalf of the charity
Free to Run t-shirt and buff
Lifelong positive karma!
What we are looking for from you:
Raise awareness: Speak positively about the organization and our campaigns; share and amplify Free to Run’s mission online and in your community; and if you are interested, even organize local events or participate in speaking engagements. We would love to hear your ideas!
Raise funds: Commit to fundraising US $1,000 over the course of a year to support our work. We are aiming towards a collective goal of US$100,000 across 100 ambassadors- it is a big challenge, but together we can do it!
Wear the brand: Wear our name/logo in races and events.
If this sounds like something you are interested in, please fill out the application here. People who self-identify as a member of a visible minority group or individuals with disabilities are particularly encouraged to apply. We look forward to hearing from you!
